So you get what you pay for.  I didn't figure out the baggage check as I was hoping to carry on.  When I got to airport, my bag sat on top of the measure.  Ha.  So on top of my cheap $200 flight was $100 to check my fat bag.  I was sort of relieved as it was heavy and I had no idea how I was going to lift into overhead.  So it's gone and I have very little to carry and I think I have everything I will need to spend the night in an airline seat.  I did forget socks :(.  Fingers crossed as I have a window seat coming back and it's "J" and this seat going out is also "J".  So maybe just maybe...... I have snacks and Benadryl and will be hoping to sleeeeeeeeep!!!

I've tried to share this travel blog before with work colleagues, so we don't have to keep recreating the wheel.  It looks like FB has made this very easy, so stay tuned.  Some of my sweet friends and family have asked me to share my adventure, so hopefully this will work.  I'm in Boston today extending my hotel stay as long as possible and doing laundry at Embassy Suites.  Pretty exciting so far!!

Eating out in Ocean City

So I found a bar type place on the bay BJ's.  Not much on water that I can tell.  I'm going to ask at hotel next time.  Marlin at the Doubletree I ate at the first time.  No to 32 Palm in Hilton.  Lisa told me about a few places but they are not on the water.  So need to keep looking.  The bay view is beautiful.  Waiter good here at BJ's but took forever for a hostess to greet me.  Kind of like Banana Boat......

Preston County WVa

So I think it makes sense to spend 2 nights as the last flight out of PIT to ATL is at 6:40 and traffic and GPS ladies are interesting.  I think I'll spend two nights at the INN and get coffee in am.  Maybe stop to eat in Morgantown on the way in as I am in the middle of nowhere. Will be coaching at Kingwood Elem. Stay at Modern Homestead.  Stayed by college the last time.  Modern Homestead is too noisy on main road.

Update
Try to leave earlier so I don't get stuck in rush hour traffic in PIT.  I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn in Morgantown.  Can't walk to Univ so maybe look at the other Hilton closer to there.  It's an hour to Preston County from here so need to do differently next visit.

Fly into PIT

Ate at Sargasso's in Morgantown.  Try staying at Marriott closer to college.  Need almost an hour to drive to schools.  Plan to work on Intervention next coaching visit.

Stayed at Marriott.  Nice.  Still 45 m drive to school.  Coaching at Kingwood this visit.  Teachers in the a.m. and they have to meet in pm.  Not sure how much will get done.  Some want to see Intervention groups but with controlled readers?

Baltimore

This is such a sad and littered and deserted place in some parts, but staying downtown at the Homewood Suites which is combined w/ Hilton Garden with access to a beautiful gym with a fabulous pool.  The restaurants are plentiful! Stay here always!!
