Baltimore

This is such a sad and littered and deserted place in some parts, but staying downtown at the Homewood Suites which is combined w/ Hilton Garden with access to a beautiful gym with a fabulous pool.  The restaurants are plentiful! Stay here always!!

Huntsville April 2018

So I stayed downtown at the Embassy Suites for the 2nd time.  Bring a suit.  There is also a Spa on 2nd floor.  Managers wine at 5:30.  Nice rooms.  Do this again if come back.
Ate at Cotton Row.  They also have munchies at cocktail hour, but it is where you get breakfast not at the bar. Nice little Starbucks coffee shop as well.

Savannah/Statesboro February 2018

So Savannah was not as nice as I remembered.  I won't stay in Doubletree in Historic District again.

Stay at Hilton Garden Inn in Danbury but ask them for a quiet room as the walls are really thin.  Starbucks close by.  Face shopping center and turn left and it is on the right.  Rent a car!  I flew into White Plains the first 2 times, but Bradley the last time.  I think Bradley has more choices for times and is less $$$

Stayed at Canopy on the wharf/Hilton
Had to get used to the elevators
Ate at Hanks-looked good for seafood, negative for veggies
Ann and I ate at salad place around the corner
Fun to go early and see boats, much easier to get to off expressway

NYC to DC on train

Yes, but it was a little scary when the speed got up there.  Stay at the Madison in DC.  They put me in the penthouse.  Very nice service as Hilton has just acquired it.  Took a cab to my school and Capital Sedan to airport.  No stress!

No to the Renwick Hotel (Hilton) in midtown.  Staff nice, but internet a problem.  Holes in towels, no soap in dispenser.  No coffee until 6:45 and none in room.  No food till 7:00.
