Stayed at Canopy on the wharf/Hilton
Had to get used to the elevators
Ate at Hanks-looked good for seafood, negative for veggies
Ann and I ate at salad place around the corner
Fun to go early and see boats, much easier to get to off expressway

NYC to DC on train

Yes, but it was a little scary when the speed got up there.  Stay at the Madison in DC.  They put me in the penthouse.  Very nice service as Hilton has just acquired it.  Took a cab to my school and Capital Sedan to airport.  No stress!

No to the Renwick Hotel (Hilton) in midtown.  Staff nice, but internet a problem.  Holes in towels, no soap in dispenser.  No coffee until 6:45 and none in room.  No food till 7:00.
